A man was injured in a Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood shooting early Saturday on the South Side.

About 2:25 a.m., the 37-year-old was standing outside in the 7500 block of South Stewart when someone walked up and opened fire, police said.

He was shot in the foot and suffered a graze wound to the back and was taken to Saint Bernard Hospital and Health Care Center, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
