SEATTLE — After playing 34 percent of the Bears’ defensive snaps through the first two games, Willie Young was a surprise scratch before Sunday’s game.

To hear the outside linebacker tell it, he was a healthy scratch, too.

“There’s nothing wrong with me,” Young said. “Didn’t you see me practicing all week?”

Share Events on The CubeYoung, who did not appear on the injury report all week, said he will “play when called upon,” and that the decision was out of his control.

“Any time your guys go to battle you want to be out there and bring it,” he said. “And contribute as much as you can, whenever you can, you know?”
