Two men were shot in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side Sunday night.

The men, ages 18 and 24, were standing outside in the 3000 block of West Lexington Street at 9:40 p.m. when a vehicle pulled up and someone from inside fired shots, police said.

The 18-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the chest, and was take to Mount Sinai Hospital where his condition was stabilized.

The 24-year-old man suffered a graze wound to the right wrist, and he refused medical care at the scene.

Both men are documented gang members, police said.
