Man, 27, wounded in East Garfield Park shooting

A 27-year-old man was wounded in a shooting in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side Sunday afternoon.

The man was shot in the face, upper right shoulder and lower left arm about 2:14 p.m. when he got into an argument with someone he knows in the 700 block of North Harding, according to Chicago Police.

A relative took him to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

A police source said he is a known gang member.
