SHARE Man fatally shot in South Shore identified

Authorities have identified a man who was shot to death Tuesday afternoon in the South Shore neighborhood.

Timothy Jones, 29,was outside in the 7200 block of South Exchange about 4 p.m. when someone walked up and shot him in the head, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Jones, who lived in the 1600 block of East 67th, was dead at the scene, authorities said.
