The White Sox will open the 2016 season with a four-game series at Oakland from April 4-7, and will open at home against the Cleveland Indians on April 8.

The Crosstown Series against the Cubs goes back to four games, played in succession, split between the team’s parks — July 25 and 26 at U.S. Cellular Field and July 27 and 28 at Wrigley Field.

Other interleague games include the Washington Nationals June 7-9 at U.S. Cellular Field, the New York Mets May 30-June 1 at Citi Field and Miami Marlins in Miami August 12-14 as the Sox match up with the National League East. The Sox are one of three teams who have not played at Marlins Park.

The Sox also play the Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Phillies in interleague play.

The last time the Sox opened in Oakland was in 1975.

Here is the schedule (which is tentative), announced Tuesday. Below the calendar is a day-by-day listing.
