A man was wounded in a shooting Wednesday night in the South Side Englewood neighborhood.

The 21-year-old was on the sidewalk near 68th and Perry when a minivan drove up and someone got out and fired at him, police News Affairs Officer Ronald Gaines said.

He was shot in the arm and wrist and taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in fair condition, according to Gaines.
