A man was wounded in an Austin neighborhood shooting Saturday morning on the West Side.

The 27-year-old was walking in the 0-100 block of North Parkside at 8:50 a.m. when a silver vehicle pulled up and someone inside fired at him, according to police. He was shot in the buttocks and taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, where his condition was stabilized.
