Man shot in Chatham

A man was shot in the South Side Chatham neighborhood Monday night.

The man showed up at Jackson Park Hospital about 8 p.m. with a leg wound, according to Chicago Police.

He told investigators the shooting happened in the 8200 block of South Vernon, but was otherwise “highly uncooperative,” police said.

His condition was stabilized, police said.
