Someone who drove around construction barricadesand got theircar stuck on a railroad crossing was able to run away before it was hit by a train Wednesday morning in Gary, Indiana.

It happened about 6:30 a.m. at Dunes Highway and County Line Road, according to Gary police.No one was in the car, and no one was found nearby, police said.
