An 18-year-old manwas fatally shot in the Southwest Side Marquette Park neighborhood Sunday evening.

Officers responding to a call of a person shot in the 2500 block of West 68th Street at 6:09 p.m. found Latwon A. Rogers at the mouth of an alley with a gunshot wound to the head and multiple gunshot wounds to the body,according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Rogers, of the 5800 block of South Campbell Avenue, was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead at 6:47 p.m., according to the medical examiner’s office.

The wounded were in the 400 block of South Wells Street about 1:45 a.m. when they were shot.
A man and woman were on the sidewalk in the 4600 block of South Ellis Avenue about 10:40 p.m. when someone opened fire, striking them both.
The 29-year-old was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
