Pernell McPhee didn’t want to answer questions about his scolding of Jay Cutler on the sideline in Week 2, but defended his relationship with the Bears quarterback.

“That’s my brother,” the outside linebacker said Wednesday.

McPhee yelled at Cutler on the sideline after his third-quarter interception Sept. 19. Cutler, who was dealing with a sprained right thumb, hasn’t thrown a pass in a game since.

In his second interview since coming off the physically unable to perform list Friday, McPhee did his best Marshawn Lynch impression when asked about the incident.

“I’m just here so I won’t get fined,” he said.
