Man, 28, wounded in Englewood shooting

A 28-year-old man was shot and wounded early Wednesday, according to the police, who said he was in a vehicle at 1:13 a.m. in the 7300 block of South Yale in Englewood on the South Side when someone in a sport-utility vehicle drove up and started shooting.

Shot in the hip, buttocks and left leg, he drove to St. Bernard Hospital and was later transferred to Stroger Hospital, the police said.
