Man wounded in Austin shooting

A man was shot in a vehicle early Sunday in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

At 12:47 a.m., the 37-year-old man was in a vehicle when a male fired shots from the sidewalk in the 400 block of North Laramie, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the right shoulder and then took himself to West Suburban Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
