A two-month investigation ended with the arrest of a 19-year-old north suburban man who sold cocaine to an undercover officer, according to the Lake County sheriff’s office.

Daniel Blalock is charged with four counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and one count of unlawful possession by a felon, sheriff’s police said.

North Chicago police began investigating Blalock, a gang member and previously convicted felon, police said. He sold cocaine to an undercover officer four separate times, including one instance when he also helped sell a gun, police said.

Blalock, of the 900 block of Forest Lane in Waukegan, was arrested Thursday in North Chicago and ordered held on a $250,000 bond. His next court date is Oct. 27.
