A man was shot early Sunday in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The 26-year-old was shot in the left leg about 2:15 a.m. in the 5900 block of West Ohio, according to Chicago Police.

He showed up at West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

The man was uncooperative with investigators and did not provide information on the shooting, police said, adding that he is a documented gang member.
