A person was shot in the Longwood Manor neighborhood Tuesday afternoon on the Far South Side.

Just before 3 p.m., the male was shot in the thigh in the 1100 block of West 98th Street, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, but police did not have more information Tuesday night.
