A man accidentally shot himself in the foot Friday afternoon in the South Loop.

The 30-year-old shot himself in the foot at 3:40 p.m. in the 2000 block of South State, according to Chicago Police.

He took himself to Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in good condition, police said. He has a valid concealed carry license.
