Man shot in Gresham

A man was shot Sunday afternoon in the South Side Gresham neighborhood.

The man, whose age was not immediately available, was shot in the leg at 3:34 p.m. in the 8200 block of South Carpenter, according to Chicago Police. He refused medical attention.

He was uncooperative with investigators Sunday afternoon, but a person of interest was being questioned, police said. Additional details were not immediately available.
