A man was shot and critically wounded Saturday evening in the South Side Bronzeville neighborhood.

The 33-year-old was in front of a residence at 5:21 p.m. in the 4400 block of South Prairie when he was shot in the head, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said.
