An 18-year-old man has been charged with threatening a student at a north suburban high school Wednesday afternoon.

Daniel Shatkovskiy, of the 4200 block of Linden Tree Lane in Glenview, has been charged with disorderly conduct, according to a statement from Glenview police.

At 3:29 p.m., a student told a staff member at Glenbrook South Off-Campus High School at 1835 Landwehr Rd. that a person threatened them in the parking lot, implied possession of a weapon and then ran away, police said.

The threat prompted lockdowns at Glenbrook South and Winkelman School, police said. Officers searched the area, found someone matching the suspect’s description and took him into custody.

Shatkovskiy posted $75 bail and was released, police said. He is due back in court Nov. 9.
