68-year-old man shot in Englewood

A 68-year-old man was shot early Saturday in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

About 1:40 a.m., he was standing in a vacant lot in the 400 block of West 75th Street when he heard gunfire and realized he was shot in the hip, Chicago Police said. He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in good condition.
