A man was shot Friday night in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

About 9:56 p.m., the 24-year-old was standing near a parked car in the 1400 block of North Lawler when a vehicle pulled up and someone inside shot him in the leg, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to West Suburban Medical Center in good condition, police said.
