A man was shot in the left leg late Friday in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The 19-year-old heard gunfire about 10 p.m. in the first block of West 111th Street when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been struck, according to Chicago Police.

He took himself to Roseland Community Hospital and his condition was stabilized, police said.
