A 16-year-old boy was shot late Tuesday in the Brighton Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The boy was on a porch in the 3000 block of West 40th Street at 8:14 p.m. when someone in a light-colored vehicle pulled up and shot him in the right leg, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Saint Anthony Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, police said.
