Washington Post columnist Dana Milbank predicted in October there was no way Donald Trump would win the Republican presidential nomination, and now he’ll eat his words.

A Washington Post columnist plans to fulfill his promise last October to “eat the page on which this column is printed” if Donald Trump won the Republican Party nomination for president.

“In fact, I’m so certain Trump won’t win the nomination that I’ll eat my words if he does,” Dana Milbank wrote then.

On Thursday, Milbank says in a video on the Post’s website, he’ll make good on his promise.

Which won’t be very nutritious, the Boston Globe’s STAT website reports, “but it’s not particularly dangerous, either.”
