Someone shot at and hit a sport-utility vehicle on the Stevenson Expressway early Saturday, but no one was hurt, according to the Illinois State Police, which said it happened around 1:40 a.m. in the northbound lanes near Damen Avenue.

Inbound traffic was shut down for about 15 minutes as troopers canvassed the roadway for shell casings.
