Boy, 15, shot in Rogers Park

A 15-year-old boy was shot in the Rogers Park neighborhood on the North Side Wednesday night.

The teen was outside in the 6500 block of North Ashland just before 7:30 p.m. when he was shot by someone in a passing vehicle, police said.

He was taken to Presence Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, where he was listed in good condition, police said.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
