Two people were shot early Sunday in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

A man and a woman were sitting in a vehicle in the 3900 block of West Grenshaw about 2:40 a.m. when a male walked up and fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

The 27-year-old man was shot in the face, while the 37-year-old woman suffered gunshot wounds to the right thigh and left buttocks, police said. They were both taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where their conditions were stabilized.
