A passenger on a Southwest Airlines flight was arrested Tuesday at Midway Airport after he made threatening statements during the flight, officials said.

The passenger, a male whose age was not disclosed, was arrested after Flight 2205 from Baltimore landed at Midway about 4:40 p.m., Southwest Airlines spokesman Bob Hughes said in an email Tuesday night.

Hughes said Chicago Police boarded the plane to make the arrest after the passenger “made threatening statements to a flight attendant.” However, the Chicago Police Office of News Affairs could not confirm the arrest Tuesday night.

Additional details were not immediately available.
