Like Pop-Tarts for breakfast? Are you a morning pop drinker?

Kellogg Co.’s latest mashup might save you some time.

Two pop flavors of Pop-Tarts are hitting store shelves: A&W Root Beer and Crush Orange.

“We’re always trying to surprise our fans with flavors they’ll love,” Angela Gusse, director of marketing for Pop-Tarts, said in a news release. “Pop-Tarts and soda pop is a fun, new flavor combination … so different from our fruity and dessert-type tarts, and this is our first beverage-inspired flavor.”

Here’s how Kellogg describes the two new flavors:

• Frosted A&W Root Beer are bubbling with root beer-flavored filling, wrapped inside a golden crust, and are topped with sweet white frosting and brown, red and orange crunchlets.

• Frosted Crush Orange’s citrus-flavored filling will tingle your taste buds with its sweet white frosting and orange string icing.
