Injuries reported in Hoffman Estates crash

At least one person was injured Tuesday in a three-vehicle crash in northwest suburban Hoffman Estates.

The crash, involving a Ford Ranger, Toyota Prius and commercial vehicle, happened at 3:06 p.m. on westbound I-90 near Barrington Road, according to a statement from Illinois State Police.

Police said it was not immediately clear how many people were hurt.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, police said.
