Justin Hart was on his way to propose to his longtime girlfriend when he lost the ring, WXIN-TV in Indianapolis reports.

INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis man is asking the public to help him find an engagement ring he lost en route to propose to his girlfriend.

Justin Hart spent several hours Tuesday and Wednesday looking for the ring he says he lost while riding his bike, WXIN-TV reported.

Hart says the custom-made ring was in a branded leather pouch. He says he remembered having the ring at a grocery store where he picked up flowers.

He says he has viewed the store’s surveillance video, checked pawn shops and social media, eBay and Craigslist and even asked random pedestrians if they have seen the jewelry.

Hart says he and his girlfriend have been together for more than 10 years.

Anyone who finds the ring can email Hart at Justinmhart81@gmail.com.
