A male was shot early Saturday in the Heart of Chicago neighborhood.

The male, whose age was not immediately available, was shot at 2:33 a.m. in the 2000 block of South Wolcott Avenue, according to Chicago Police.

He suffered a gunshot wound to the foot and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

Additional details were not immediately available.
