Woman shot in Brighton Park

A woman was shot early Sunday in the Brighton Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 35-year-old woman was driving in the 4100 block of South Sacramento about 1:15 a.m. when someone in a gray car nearby fired shots in her direction, according to Chicago Police.

She suffered gunshot wounds to the right arm and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where her condition was stabilized, police said.
