Teen shot in Chicago Lawn

A 17-year-old boy was shot in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood on the South Side Wednesday night.

About 10:10 p.m., the 17-year-old was standing in the 6300 block of South Claremont when he heard shots and felt pain, police said.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with a gunshot wound to the leg, police said. He was listed in good condition.
