Two men were injured in a drive-by shooting Saturday afternoon in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side.

The men, 22 and 53, were standing outside about 1:45 p.m. in the 5000 block of South Throop when a dark-colored Jeep drove by and someone inside fired shots, police said.

The 22-year-old was shot in the right leg and the 53-year-old was shot in the left thigh, police said. They were both taken to Stroger Hospital, where their conditions stabilized.

A police source said the 22-year-old is a documented gang member and the other man is a convicted felon.
