Jimmy Butler and Tom Thibodeau team up during Team USA camp

After being drafted by the Bulls, Jimmy Butler grew to be a star under the coaching of Tom Thibodeau. This season, Butler will start his post-Thibodeau career, but before that happens the two are teaming up one more time.

Thibodeau is once again working as an assistant coach on Team USA. Butler was invited to try out for the team this year If their pas success is any sign of thins to come, he should pick out his number now.

As an assistant coach, Thibodeau is far from having lone say in the roster decisions. Duke Coach Mike Krzyzewski is again the team’s head coach, while Jerry Colangelo remains the team’s chairman.

Butler is coming off of the best season of his career. While the roster is going to be full of superstars, Butler has a real chance of making the team.
