Already the longest such streak in Blackhawks history, Kane’s streak is now the longest ever by any active player. Pittsburgh’s Sidney Crosby had a 25-game streak back in 2011.

Kane now needs just two more games to crack the top 10 of NHL’s all-time longest point streaks, and four more to crack the top five.
No player has recorded a point in 30 consecutive games since Quebec’s Mats Sundin did it during the 1992-93 season.
Wayne Gretzky holds the NHL’s all-time longest streak of 51 games, and Gretzky said last week he’s rooting for Kane’s streak to continue.
