A 16-year-old boy was shot in the hip late Sunday afternoon in the Park Manor neighborhood on the South Side.

The shooting happened about 5:40 p.m. in the 7300 block of South St. Lawrence, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.

The teen wasn’t cooperating with investigators and the attack likely was gang-related, police said.
