Car smashes through store window in Buffalo Grove; police search for driver and passenger

(BUFFALO GROVE) Police are searching for two people who ran away Saturday afternoon after their car crashed into two other vehicles, then went through a window at a strip mall in northwest suburban Buffalo Grove.

About 3:15 p.m., the car crashed into the two other vehicles and a FedEx Office Print and Ship Center at 76 W. Dundee Rd., said Buffalo Grove Police Lt. Anthony Gallagher.

There were people inside the store at the time, but no one was injured in the crash, Gallagher said. Two people who were in the car, including the driver, then ran away.

“Nobody was chasing them, it’s unknown why they crashed and unknown why they fled,” Gallagher said.
