The saga of Aaron Schock continues to evolve in interesting – and potentially litigious – ways.
The congressman’s father, Richard Schock, told ABC-7′s Ben Bradley on Wednesday morning that his son would pull through after quitting his congressional seat in a surprise move on Tuesday.
Sort of . . .
“Two years from now he’ll be successful, if he’s not in jail,” the older Schock told Bradley.
Richard Schock went on to discuss some of the fallout around the resignation of his once rising-star son in a brief interview outside his Peoria home.

— unless he’s convicted of committing a crime while in office – Lynn Sweet reported earlier Wednesday.
