Man shot to death in Rogers Park

A man was shot to death Tuesday night in the Rogers Park neighborhood on the North Side.

Cortez Tate, 25, was shot in the head at 8:27 p.m. in the 7300 block of North Rogers, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Tate, of the 7600 block of North Sheridan, was taken to Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, where he was pronounced dead at 11:24 p.m., authorities said.
