17-year-old boy shot in hip in West Pullman

A 17-year-old boy was shot Friday afternoon in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The boy was shot in the hip about 3:30 p.m. in the 11900 block of South Eggleston Avenue, according to Chicago Police. He was taken to Christ Medical Center where his condition was stabilized

No additional details were immediately available.
