A man was shot early Saturday in the Irving Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The 24-year-old was shot in the shoulder about 2:56 a.m. in the 3700 block of West Irving Park, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

Additional details were not immediately available early Saturday.
