A man was wounded in a shooting early Wednesday in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The 31-year-old was sitting on a parked motorcycle at 12:05 a.m. in the 5400 block of West Walton when he heard shots and realized he’d been hit, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the left leg and taken to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Lawn in good condition, police said.
