Two men were shot Tuesday night in the West Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The men, 20 and 31, walked into an apartment about 11:20 p.m. in the 4000 block of West Jackson and spoke with a male who was sitting on the couch, who then pulled out a gun and opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The 20-year-old was shot in the buttocks, while the older man suffered a gunshot wound to the right arm, police said. They were both taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where their conditions were stabilized.

A police source said both men are documented gang members.
