Man shot in Lawndale

A man was shot early Sunday in the Southwest Side Lawndale neighborhood.

The 26-year-old was shot in the right leg about 1:45 a.m. in the 1600 block of South Kedzie, according to Chicago Police.

He took himself to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said. He was being uncooperative with investigators.

The shooting could be self-inflicted, police said.
