Chicago Police are searching for a man who attacked a woman while she was jogging last weekend in River North.

Just before 6 a.m. Saturday, the man started following her in the 200 block of West Kinzie, according to a community alert issued Wednesday.

He grabbed her by the neck and threw her to the ground, and ran away when a passerby approached, police said.

The attacker is described as a 25-year-old white man, about 5-foot-8 with a medium build, wearing a black baseball cap, black T-shirt, khaki shorts and black shoes.

Anyone with information should call Area Central detectives at (312) 747-8380.
