A 17-year-old girl was killed and two men were injured in a pin-in crash in the Northwest Side Cragin neighborhood Wednesday afternoon.

About 3 p.m., emergency responders were sent to a crash in the 3000 block of North Cicero Avenue, according to Chicago Police. A red Honda Civic heading north on Cicero Avenue made a U-turn and was struck on the passenger side by a southbound black Chevrolet Tahoe.

Debora Morales, 17, a passenger in the Civic, was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead at 7:41 p.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. She lived in the 2200 block of North La Crosse Avenue. An autopsy Thursday found she died of multiple injuries suffered in the crash, and her death was ruled an accident.

The 22-year-old driver of the Civic was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was in serious condition.

The 45-year-old driver of the Tahoe was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition, according to Fire Media Affairs. His condition had stabilized Wednesday evening.

No citations were issued as of Wednesday evening, police said. An investigation is ongoing.
